James G. Cruse, M.D.
James G. Cruse, MD graduated from Emory Medical School and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Emory in 1998. He is board certified in family medicine. After 11 years of owning his own practice in Cumming, he joined North Atlanta Primary Care in August 2009. During medical school he spent time doing research with the CDC’s Epidemiology Intelligence Service and with the World Health Organization. He has volunteered providing free medical care to migrant farm workers in rural South Georgia and has done international volunteer work as a physician in Ecuador, Costa Rica, and the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. Besides general family practice, he is interested in wellness, sports medicine, travel medicine, infectious disease, and pediatrics. He loves seeing children and teens.
Dr. Cruse is fluent in Spanish.
