North Atlanta Primary Care is an independently owned practice with 12 offices in the North Atlanta area: Alpharetta, Braselton, Cumming, East Cobb, Johns, Creek, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Midtown, Sandy Springs, Sugar Hill, West Paces and Woodstock. Our practice employs over 60 providers, who are supported by a full staff of RNs, LPNs and CMAs. NAPC handles 200,000 patient encounters annually and plans to expand to 16 locations over the next 18 months.

NAPC has been serving the community since 1988 and is Georgia's most awarded practice. NAPC has utilized electronic medical record since 1998 and was awarded the Nicholas Davis Award for Excellence in the Use of Electronic Medical Records

Job Summary

This is a clinical management position reporting to the Clinical Director and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all North Atlanta Primary Care locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to improve clinical activity, service, quality, productivity and department processes and working with management team to implement necessary changes.
  • Assists Clinical Managers in resolving concerns and issues for clinical staff.
  • Work with Clinical Managers to ensure proper education of staff that is necessary to meet quality, safety and competency requirements.
  • Investigates patient issues and complaints.
  • Ensures the proper allocation of resources and distribution of work.
  • Works with Clinical Director to ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and established policies and procedures, utilization and clinical/performance standards and measures.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing to meet patient, physician and internal clients’ needs.


  • Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing
  • Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Georgia
  • At least 5 years nursing experience with one or more years in a management position
  • Preferred knowledge of primary care, immunizations, growth and development, cultural diversity and performance improvement
  • State of Georgia Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and problem solving-skills.
  • CPR certification
  • Strong understanding of Electronic Health Records


The clinical nurse manager will be responsible for one or more of the NAPC locations. The candidate will evaluate the performance of clinical staff, providing feedback and mentoring, contributing to the medical assistant's professional development, ensuring that the staff is properly trained, interviewing and hiring clinical staff, and maintaining inventory of medicines, equipment and supplies. The Clinical nurse manager will serve as a representative and promote the best interests of their staff and the patients that they care for.


  • Eligible candidates must have current RN/LPN licensure in the state of Georgia
  • Eligible candidates must have EMR experience
  • Eligible candidates must have previous clinical management experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Eligible candidates must be able to supply management references upon request


  • Welcome and care for patients and visitors to our practice
  • Register patients, verify insurance eligibility
  • Assist, patients with referrals as well as collect and process patient payments as you schedule follow-up appointment
  • This also includes, posting daily charges from encounter forms and balancing at the end of each day
  • You will also promptly and courteously answer phones, handle requests and inquiries, or route calls as appropriate
